Parents and guardians of students at Cragmont are requested to volunteer at least 20 hours each year. There are so many different ways that you can be involved in your child’s education, either in the classroom, at home, on a field trip or in a specialized tutoring program here at school.

Please contact Mardawn Wendt or Susan Jardin at volunteeratcragmont@yahoo.com or 510-644-8810 with questions about opportunities, where help is most needed, etc. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9-1, and arrangements can be made to meet with them in the afternoon, if necessary.

If you volunteer at Cragmont, please stop by the main office to sign-in using the green Volunteer Binder, located on the front desk (Lorraine Mahley, the principal’s secretary can assist you in finding the binder). If you are signing-in for the first time, go to the back of the binder, find a blank form, and put your name at the top. Now put this form in the binder in alphabetical order by your surname. You will record your volunteer time on campus on this form every time you come in. Next, take a VOLUNTEER lanyard from the box next to the Volunteer Binder and wear it while you are on campus. Please try to remember to sign-out in the binder when you leave school and to return your lanyard to the box. Please inform the teacher, front office or Volunteer Office Staff when you know that you will not be in to volunteer (510-644-8810).
