About Cragmont School

Approximately four-hundred students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade attend Cragmont. We are extremely proud of our dedicated and experienced teachers, outstanding students and supportive families. Cragmont is known for its high expectations for all; its safe, caring and nurturing environment; and its program of academic excellence. Together, we continue to provide Cragmont students with the best education and enrichment possible! I believe you will find our school to be a welcoming place where all children are encouraged and engaged in learning. As a community we can make a difference!

Enrollment Information

For enrollment information, visit the Berkeley Unified School District Website.

In general, enrollment forms for kindergarten are available in January. The district website also has information on when and where they offer the Kindergarten Fair, an event you should attend, if you have any questions about Cragmont or other Berkeley schools.

 

Incoming Parents and Children: Events to Check out:

Incoming Kindergarteners and their parents are especially encouraged to attend the following events:

Spring Carnival - Cragmont's biggest community event. Attend Saturday, May 8th while your child is still in preschool and get your child excited to come to Cragmont. The Carnival features games, a cake walk, book sales, a silent auction and our annual quilt raffle. It's a great way to mingle with the Cragmont community and support your new public school!

Kindergarten Play dates - meet other parents and children, ask questions, and get acquainted with Cragmont School.
