The Diversity Committee will work with the Cragmont community to actively address and challenge racism, homophobia, and other identity-based issues in and around our school. It is the intent of the committee to foster a learning environment for our children in which respect for one another is paramount. The committee will facilitate programs to connect the faculty, students and parents in a community-wide effort to educate our children and ourselves about the boundaries, complexities, and subtleties of student interaction. We will encourage each other to be accountable to the community for the creation and maintenance of a safe learning environment wherein great attention is paid to the differences, both contemporary and historical, of all community members.
