Cragmont Elementary School

Dedicated to providing an outstanding education for all students while laying the foundation for each child’s personal success.

Cragmont PTA directly funds many programs at our school that enrich the Cragmont experience for our students, such as our art class, field trips, gardening supplies, school supplies, teacher appreciation events, and much more.

BUSD LEARNS Parent Survey – Listening from the Field

Berkeley Unified School District has launched “Engage Expanded Learning,” a districtwide listening strategy led by Joya Balk, Director of Categorical Programs and Special Projects. The purpose of this effort is to understand both the strengths of Berkeley’s after-school programs, including LEARNS and BEARS, and the areas where improvement, expansion, and clearer planning may be needed.

This survey is intended for all BUSD families, not only those currently enrolled in aftercare. Families who have been waitlisted, opted out due to capacity or cost, use alternative programs, or anticipate needing after-school care in the future are strongly encouraged to participate.

 

Comprehensive participation will help the district better understand real demand, identify gaps, and plan for both short- and long-term improvements.

A Spellbinding Soirée

Join us for A Spellbinding Soirée, Cragmont Elementary’s Annual Auction - an enchanting evening of community, delicious food, wonderful wine, and the power of generosity.

📅 Saturday, April 11 | 6–9 PM
📍 Donkey & Goat Winery, Berkeley

This adults-only evening is a chance for parents and caregivers to come together beyond school routines to enjoy great company, music, games, and the opportunity to bid on fantastic auction items, all in support of vital PTA programs that benefit our students and teachers.

🎟️ Early bird tickets are $45 through April 1. Purchasing early helps us plan for the evening (and gives you time to book a babysitter!).
