Congratulations to BUSD Educator –and Cragmont parent!– Dave Stevens: The California Educational Research Association’s 2014 Outstanding Paper was awarded to Dave Stevens for his work on developing the Academic Support Index (ASI), which helps identify students who might benefit from additional support. After three years in use at Berkeley High, the ASI is now being considered for use district-wide. To better understand the ASI, you can read his award-winning paper that outlines the research and thinking behind the benefits, or attend the LCAP Town Hall Meeting on Feb. 19th.
