The Cragmont Read-a-Thon is this week - October 21st - 25th. Students should all have received their Read-a-Thon packet, if not there are extra packets at the front office. The packet includes instructions and a pledge form. Students can collect pledges for their reading during the entire week (both for home and school reading). Pledges can be made by cash or check and placed in the provided envelopes or pledge online: https://app.99pledges.com/fund/Cragmont2019.
On Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019, teachers will spend extra time reading in the classroom. Please check with your child's teacher about anything special for that day. If you would like to join the fun as a guest reader, or by helping in the classroom, please contact your child’s teacher or room parent to sign up.
The Read-a-Thon doesn’t just encourage a love of books. It’s also an important fundraiser for Cragmont! Proceeds go toward the following literacy programs:

Books and Bagels
Scholastic Book Faire events
Mock Newbery Book Club
Handwriting Without Tears Books
Digital Book program
