Cragmont's 2026 Read-a-thon

Get ready to READ READ READ with Cragmont’s Read-a-thon just around the corner!

What is a Read-a-Thon?!

This is a special time for Cragmont School and our Dragons. The Goal of the Read-a-Thon is for your Dragon to read (or be read to) and to tally up as many minutes of reading time as possible from February 21-27. To further support the students’ reading efforts, friends and families can pledge money to support Cragmont’s crucial literacy programs. Match donation dollars to reading minutes or donate whatever you can. No amount is too small or too big. The class with the most reading minutes and the class with the most funds raised win prizes at the end of the Readathon week!

SAVE THESE DATES:

• February 21-27: Official Read-a-thon dates. During this time, Dragons can tally up their reading times/pledges/donations!

• February 21 12-3pm - https://pegasusbookstore.com/ on Solano Ave will hold a special Read-a thon event where families can come and listen to Cragmont teachers read their favorite stories while also shopping for books to donate to classrooms from teachers' wishlists. Additionally, a percentage of all purchases at any Pegasus bookstore from Feb 21-27 goes to Cragmont's literacy programs (say "Cragmont" at checkout)!

• February 26 5:30-7:30pm - Literacy Night!
