Lunar New Year Bao Drive
What better way to celebrate the Year of the Ox then with delicious baked pork buns or pineapple buns shared with your family and friends.

Suggested donations $10-$20 per box. Bao will be prepared by Wonder Food Bakery, an Oakland BIPOC small business. Orders will be distributed to you by your Cragmont PTA between February 10 - 12, 2021. Order confirmation and distribution details to follow via email.
You can also send a blessing of good health and prosperity through a box of yummy goodness to a Cragmont staff or pass it forward and donate a box to a family who may not otherwise participate. See the BAO order form for more details.
Lunar New Year Good Luck Goodie Bag
Each Cragmont student will receive a Lunar New Year Goodie bag at their next classroom material pickup. Included will be a Red Envelope (representing good luck and prosperity) with a golden treat and an orange/tangerine (representing wealth and fortune).

Ring in the Year of the Ox! Celebrate the Lunar New Year online with the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the Chinese Cultural Institute, and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United States of America. Enjoy streamed video performances and demonstrations of traditional Chinese crafts and Lunar New Year traditions.
