Dear Cragmont Families, October 13 - 23, 2020 is Cragmont Dragon’s Read-a-Thon time. This is Cragmont's annual fundraising initiative to promote literacy for our students. Our goal is to raise $10K so we can continue to offer enriching and effective literacy support, such as Digital Reading Programs, classroom set books, books for all kids, and Scholastic Book Fair events. This year, with everything online, we are using a platform called 99Pledges. Start fundraising by asking your friends and family to donate to your students Read-a-Thon. It's simple:
Step 1: Review your student's unique 99Pledges webpage. (see separate email from 99Pledges)
Step 2: Upload your student's picture to their webpage. We recommend that you include in the picture, the banner “Dragon Readers Rock.” - be creative!
Step 3: Email or use Social Media to share your students’ donation requests using 99Pledges.
Step 4: Students will read, read, read and record their reading in a log.
Step 5: Students who upload a photo on their website will qualify for cool books and prizes.
Here’s what your donation can do:
$10 purchases 3 colored books
$25 pays for a class set of books
$50 pays for Handwriting without Tears Book
$100 pays for audio books for 1 classroom
