The Cragmont Fund Campaign kicks off our fundraising initiatives for the year. Please open and read this purple form and if you have not already, kindly complete it and return it to your child’s teacher by October 4th. If you have already returned it and/or donated, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
State budget cuts are impacting every school in California, including those in Berkeley Unified School District (BUSD). Reduced school funding at state level, coupled with rising costs and increased budgets, means that parent/ caregiver groups, like PTAs, are stepping up to fund more school programs and activities.
Our PTA helps to support programs at Cragmont such as; math intervention, family engagement, art, music, dance, gardening, special education and so much more… We work hard to raise funds to protect Cragmont’s unique programming. In order to raise these vital funds for our school, we hold a variety of events and campaigns throughout the year. We have an overall goal of $160,000 to raise this year to maintain our current level of programming here at Cragmont.
